Online Advertisement - What lies ahead ?
There is life beyond Google and Yahoo...
For past many years online advertisement has been synonymous
with google and yahoo contextual ads. This was possible
because during the early days of internet online advertisements
meant search engine results pages. Naturally they were able to
leverage the next phase of growth using contextual ads. The global
online ad revenues is expected to surpass $60 billion by 2010.
However, the mediums on which online ads are published now is
getting diversified. This means new means of online ads in
entirely new publishing networks are fast emerging. This signals
the end of the dominance that search engines had over online
advertisements.
